BIOGRAPHICAL ROOTS OF THE "NEUROPOELITIKUM"

Since my childhood I know drawings from Thomas Lundbye and landscape paintings from my grandma Else Lundbye. At the age of ten (1978) my father showed me how to paint with oil-colours, but all this was too early because I`ve been quite too shy and unconscious for expressing myself. Then, at the age of sixteen (1984) I had the luck of finding a mystical teacher and -to my own surprise- a great cosmic flash came over me directly through the first meditation. This made me almost crazy as a teenager with absolut different problems than THIS BIG THIS. So I started painting again and wrote some small poems to complete missing levels.

When I began studying "art therapy" at the university of Cologne, political events and the contact to the underground-culture-scene inspired me to become a performer, and a new paranormal experience by walking through the parks (1989) let me stop painting because of the respect to that 'Enormous Empty Energy' (E³). At this point of no return I also lost language for one week: I coudn`t speak just one simple word at all, my mouth muscles didn`t want to work and my brain was a burning sun. I didn`t eat and didn`t move during this period, I was only asking into the air what to believe in. What was "truth". Finally I was able to say YES to the air itself, because my lounges werde breathing in and out without asking anything. Therefore I found myself as a present true reality and felt born again. As a result I developed a communication theory that includes as the central message LOVE FOR LIFE AND LIFE THROUGH LOVE. The german word L.I.E.B.E. I define now as a abbreviation for Lust-integral-erweiterter-Bewußtseinseuphorie (pleasure of integral-extended euphoria of consciousness).

Since that moment all poetry, all performances and all paintings I do, try to show THE HOLY HOLE IN THE WHOLE: I had no existential question anymore but much everyday trouble grows every day. Day by day. Since december 1994 I research moreover into lovepoetry as I wondered that so-called "lovepoems" mostly describe the opposite of love: desire because of the failure of love! For the fulfilment of love I like to use the expression 'ERWEITERTE SACHLICHKEIT'. This means "Widened Factuality" (sorry, if it sounds bad directly translated).

Everybody who falls in love with the pure big being of the being knows how shocking brutal the naked reality is from that point of no point of return. Without metaphysical security, reality is realized als really radical real! And we`re searching for practical possibilities of human perhappening (= it happens perhaps) by clear contact...

That`s my neuropoelitical philosophy: a combination of the three great mystical/material (both in all beyond dialectic illusion) motions postpostmodern open-hearted: sensual spirituality, poetic positivism and existential political being. With my artworks I fight for this "transreligious" vision.

Although men destroy peace and freedom again and again, my frameless fulframed soulbody keeps hope by that strong independent wisdom: WE BELONG TOGETHER BEYOND CULTURAL FRONTIERS - WE BELONG. So I think it`s a nice exercise if at least artists build a kind of interdisciplinary global network against that silly strugglers. We don`t need presidents, we need persons. More and more.

That`s the reason why I moved to the international subculture arthouse 'Tacheles' in the middle of Berlin (Germany) at the end of 1997. Here I organized everyweek live off-poetry events with unplugged open mike and an "objectpoetry"-exhibition (in may `98) with installations combined with readings of several writers. In my spare time I publish time by time all my meanwhile much to much poems I can`t avoid. To keep the survey I use different pseudonyms for different themes and levels and stopped using the old sole pen-name 'Tom Toys' after about thousand poems. Some of my own twenty-three lovepoems are already translated into Danish (thanks, dad!!!) but it`s difficult because I like special follows of invented word combinations. Hope you enjoy them and the way I present them to you by performances, installations, objects and little books in my own G&GN-label of my 'Institut für Ganz & GarNix' (institute for whole & complete nothing) as well as a few with a bookshop-number.
